Weird as it sounds, I am now half way through my degree! We finished for Christmas today (well actually, the end of term is officially tomorrow but I can’t be bothered to go in at 9:00 for one lecture) so I’ve got a month off starting back for more delightful lectures on Monday 9th January 2006. 2006! Scary isn’t it that we’re almost into the sixth year of the century, but anyway i digress. I received an email this afternoon from the man in charge of the lab courses with the lab timetable for next semester… guess what… I have labs on the first day of term! How rubbish. I also only have one Monday off, whereas last time I had four. The rest of my timetable is pretty much the same, just changed with the new modules.

Im going to have a lazy day tomorrow to celebrate, possibly going out on the night or maybe Saturday, then on Monday it’s back to work. Maybe a bit of Christmas shopping. I have a literature review, business essay, numerous lab repors and some other stuff that escapes me at the moment to do for the first few weeks back. I’ll try to get it all done this side of Christmas so I can relax for a week or two before I start back.
