Got back last night from my d of e final expedition in the Peak District. We arrived at the base campsite on Saturday morning and went for a ’short’ acclimatisation walk which ended up getting us all very wet and cold, then off to a pub in Glossop for dinner. Saturday we went shopping for final bits and pieces then spent the afternoon getting ready to start walking Monday morning.

The weather was very nice the whole time, probably a bit hot for walking but still good. In the end all groups managed to complete the whole thing, which for my group was about 85km in total…muscles are feeling a little tight today.
